New Release - DFCA Ver. 4.1

K-State Innovation Partners announces the release of DFCA Version 4.1.

Referring to Figure 1. and Figure 2., DFCA Version 4.0 and 4.1 incorporate two new functions which can be applied to:

  • Determine micro-geometries of rectangular braided fabrics.
  • Determine micro-geometries of tubular braided fabrics.
  • Generate conformal FE meshes for rectangular braided fabric reinforced composites.
  • Generate conformal FE meshes for tubular braided fabric reinforced composites.
  • Generate conformal FE meshes for sheared composite cells.
  • Generate conformal FE meshes for multi-layer composite.
